Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday

Today my day was divided into three. First of all was office and paperwork. Yeech. Secondly I spent the time doing photography and working with an older camera. I like the older stuff, it is like not giving up on the past. The evening was capped off with a really nice walk with a friend around Cedar Hill Golf Course.
I haven't been feeling all that well, mostly some breathing issues and the feeling that I get when I try to push it. I will ask Gillian tomorrow.

Not much today so here is a little past

Today was a nice quiet day so I thought I would write about two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago today we were At Sea on the CruiseShip Oosterdam for Holland America cruises. We had sailed out of San Diego, where we spend three terriffic days. Today was a day of just rest. I was up early and walked for about an hour round and round the prominade deck. That far out to see, about 10 miles, you don't see any land, just miles and miles of blue ocean and the waves created by the ship.

So Marla and I had breakfast on our balcony. I doubt if we could ever do a balcony again. Then the rest of our day was devoted to exploring the ship, napping, snacking, and otherwise preparing for the formal dinner. I could definately go on a multi day trans ocean cruise. So thinking about this stuff today was better than the thinking that I did on the real day.

You've got some 'splainin' to do

I opted out for the last while to keep my journal on paper. I was told that there was a better connection to my subconscious if I write rather than type. Truth is that I am a much slower writer by hand than I am by typing. Also, I always have some form of a communication tool nearby be it my iPhone, computer, laptop or even my lame-o psp. So the short of it is I am back to journalling on line.

There are two points of view of journalling by hand vs computer.
http://www.journalingsaves.com/journal-writing-by-hand is very much pro writing and other sites make the same comment. And that is writing is good, computing journalling is good for day to day stuff, but whether you do it one way or other the important exercise is to just do it.

I will catch you up on the other stuff I have been doing for last couple of months in a later post.
