Okay so here I am again way out of order.  A bunch of stuff has happened and I will post on it later.  For now let it be said that I am enjoying a Victoria summer.  Summer in Victoria appears to last for a few days in August and we call that the great heat wave.  It was rather uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping.  But it was no ways as bad as when I was heavier.

I have been very much enjoying my walks.  So much that I have made it a habit to take the bus to work each monday and then walk home in the evening.  It takes about an hour and 20 minutes to walk home.  I don't really rush it and in truth I quite enjoy listening to a podcast along the way.  I have been enjoying news from DisneyWorld and Disneyland on a podcast called Inside The Magic.

Marla has been feeling really unwell this week.  Last wednesday we had to go into emergency and she was pretty much benched all this week.  It made for a nice quiet weekend at home.  I have been busy taking all my information from the two dying hard drives and moving them over to a new 3TB drive.  My other new toy is that I bought a Kobo Vox.  It should make travelling a lot more fun and interesting - at least both of us can see the screen.

My boss has left the college in favour of living and working near his home in Surrey.  So now we are on the search for a new IT director.  It should make for interesting times.
